Scale

2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed

¼ to cup sweet or savory spread (Nutella, jam, or pesto)

1 large egg (for egg wash)

Flaky salt or powdered sugar for topping

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. Roll out one puff pastry sheet to 10×13 inches and place on parchment.

3. Spread chosen filling evenly across pastry.

4. Top with second puff pastry sheet and cut into a triangle.

5. Twist strips to form branches.

6. Brush with egg wash.

Notes

For best results, keep the puff pastry cold until baking.
